CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer- BLENDED LEARNING:
Classroom & Online

Registration through the JCC must be completed 48 hours before the first classroom session.
An email with instructions for Blended Learning Online Training Material will be sent out 2 weeks prior to the first session.
Proof of online completion must be brought to the classroom session. 

FIRST AID COMPONENT AVALABLE UPON REQUEST.

Must be at least 15 to register.
Must Attend scheduled classroom session
This Blended Online / Classroom learning class teaches those with a duty to act in an emergency the skills to respond appropriately to first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies.

Course components include learning to survey the scene, how to protect the rescuer and victim, as well as ventilation, care for choking victims, CPR, and AED.

Must Attend all 3 classroom sessions
Must pass all Swimming Prerequisites at the first classroom session 

SWIM AND TREAD *Must complete all 3 steps without stopping*

-150m Swim must show both Freestyle & Breaststroke skills during the swim. (NON STOP SWIM 1.5 FOOTBALL FIELDS, Goggles are allowed)

-2 Minute Tread using legs only hands tucked under armpits.(YOU CANNOT USE YOUR ARMS)

-50m Swim, Freestyle OR Breaststroke. (NON STOP SWIM, Goggles are allowed)

BRICK DIVE / RETREVAL

-10LB brick retrieval from 10FT depth with 15m swim, legs only, brick held with both hands. (NO GOGGLES)

Lifeguarding/First Aid certifications are valid for 2 years, CPR/AED certifications are valid for 1 year.
