Camp Centerland is a vibrant and enriching summer camp experience for children, offering a safe and supportive environment in which to explore, learn, and grow. Located on the Irving M. Shuman Campgrounds, the camp provides a blend of outdoor adventures, creative arts, sports, and team-building activities designed to nurture campers' confidence, independence, and friendships.
With a focus on Jewish values and inclusivity, Camp Centerland creates a welcoming environment that fosters connections between campers of all backgrounds and with nature. From themed weeks and swimming pools to climbing towers and nature trails, Camp Centerland offers a packed schedule of memorable experiences every day!

JCC Buffalo has established the Gretchen S. Gross Memorial Endowment to support scholarships for camp and youth photography classes at the JCC in Gretchen’s name, forever.
Our success would not have been possible without the initial support of friends and family who contributed to these efforts. But the time is now to commit to helping the JCC increase its impact while cementing Gretchen’s legacy through the endowment. We have set a goal of $250,000 to ensure we can continue to provide and expand these incredible opportunities for our community in a way that will honor Gretchen for generations to come…..so join our Labor of Love.
