Fitness and Wellness
The JCC’s fitness facilities are crucial to its success, with a significant portion of its membership driven by fitness programs. Current equipment is outdated and requires urgent upgrades. The campaign will address these needs, including expanding wellness services, offering specialized programs, and restoring family-friendly services like babysitting.
Camp Centerland and Youth Services
Camp Centerland, recognized by Newsweek magazine as one of the top 200 summer camps in the U.S. in 2024, is set to grow with strategic planning and improvements. This includes funding for scholarships, facility upgrades, and long-term sustainability. Additionally, the JCC’s Early Childhood Education and Kids’ Place programs will receive increased funding to support scholarships and offer enrichment activities for the children we serve.
Cultural Arts & The Jewish Repertory Theatre
The Jewish Repertory Theatre (JRT) and the JCC’s cultural arts programs, which include music, theater, arts, and programs for older adults, are integral to the community. Funds will establish a permanent JRT Endowment Fund and ensure the continued success of over 40 annual cultural events.
Jewish Life and Education
The campaign will also support the growth of programs that educate and engage the community in Israel, Jewish culture, heritage, and peoplehood.
