The JCC of Greater Buffalo is excited to offer art classes and workshops for adults and children in various mediums, including watercolors, charcoal, pencil, acrylic paints, and more. If you're brand new to art, returning, or a practicing artist, there are classes for your skill level and interests! Enjoy our new state-of-the-art Art Studio at our Benderson Family Building.

Artist Inspired | Ages: 5-12
Discover a different artist each month. Participants will explore and learn about different artists and their styles and techniques each month and then create their own artist-inspired piece. This is a drop-off class. All supplies are included in the cost.

Art Social | Ages: 3-6
Gather with families for a fun, quick art experience followed by open play at the indoor playground. An adult is required to attend. Join us for this monthly meet-up!

Little Hands Create | Ages: 4-6
Each month will be a different art activity. Children are involved in arts and crafts activities that enhance fine motor skills, creativity, and imaginations! This is a drop-off class. All supplies included in the cost.

Intuitive Painting Workshop
Get out of your head and find your flow! Dana Saylor, a local artist, historian and retreat leader is guiding Intuitive Painting sessions with vibrant “alcohol inks”. She offers an immersive healing experience focused on grounding practices and abstract painting techniques to connect the body, mind and spirit. No experience is necessary, and those who consider themselves “non-creative” are especially welcome.

Put a Plant on It Workshop
Join the JCC and Put a Plant on It for a fun hands-on Moss Plaque workshop. Participants will make a 12" x 12" piece of moss art! All moss is sustainably sourced and preserved - meaning it requires 0 care and maintenance! We also forage and grow a lot of the elements used in the creation. A super fun and unique class and participants get to take their work of art home to enjoy for years to come. All supplies included in the price.
