Be part of the JCC’s 2020 Yearbook – a Year to Remember
This has been an extraordinary time for all of us. We are learning about ourselves and others and we are discovering how to live together in manner we had never imagined. We are helping neighbors and strangers. We are looking for ways to rebuild our future together.
The support and love which has emerged from this time has shown us a strong, hardworking, loving and committed community at the JCC. We are all dealing with our ‘new’ lives at this time and working to keep active by different means each day.
The JCC wants to give you an opportunity to share your experiences or thoughts with others. We are collecting stories, photos and other memories for a JCC 2020 Yearbook, a keepsake to help us remember and reflect on this time. Years from now we can share our stories and memories with children, grandchildren, parents, grandparents, friends and more.
Please upload your stories, thoughts, poems, photographs, art or even recipes that helped you through this time. As a JCC community, we can express how this meaningful time has changed our lives, collected together in this important memory book.
In our new world of restrictions, this concept has no limits! Perhaps you have a favorite meal that you and your family have enjoyed? Maybe you were inspired to work on a new home project? What’s helped you manage during this time? Whatever you have been doing – we want to know so that we can all celebrate and honor this time in our lives.
If you would rather email, please send your stories and images to Jordana Halpern at: JHalpern@jccbuffalo.org
Thank you for being part of our JCC.
