Storm Swim Club
2022-23 SEASON NOW AVAILABLE FOR REGISTRATION
The Storm Swim Club is made up of three groups, Shock, Thunder, and Lightning. They are organized to best match kids with similar ability, age, physical and emotional maturity, level of commitment, practice habits, and experience.
We strive to make the club a fun place to be where they will meet new friends while learning all aspects of stroke skills and USA Swimming rules.
Dive right in and meet new friends and learn how fun and rewarding team swimming can be! This intro to the competitive swimming program teaches the team side of swimming, as well the beginning of racing skills, stroke development, and sportsmanship!
Practice Schedule- M, W, F- 4:30pm | Benderson | Holland
Introduces swimmers to the sport of swimming with emphasis on the fundamentals of the four competitive strokes(freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly) using drills and learning the requirements of USA swimming. Strong emphasis on kick, head position and body posture. This intermediate competitive swimming program teaches the team and individual sides of swimming, as well the practice of racing skills, stroke development, and sportsmanship! Successfully completing an American Red Cross Level 3 and/or Storm Shock is a prerequisite.

Swimmers will master all four strokes, flip turns, diving, train for endurance and sprinting, maintain proper technique, and do interval work. Dive right in, meet new friends, and learn how fun and rewarding team swimming can be! This advanced competitive swimming program is great for swimmers looking to improve their strength and endurance while prepping for school swimming. Swimmers will be invited to attend both inter-squad dual meets and USA Swimming Competitions.
