Adam Field Physical Therapy

Throughout Adam Field’s extensive training and experience he has embraced the successful philosophies and practice of myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, deep tissue massage, and joint/soft tissue mobilization. He understands that individuals develop chronic pain as a result of injuries, poor body mechanics and postural habits, and that we typically do not find lasting relief unless the soft tissue that restricts motion is properly treated and released.

Adam’s experience, knowledge, empathy, and gentle manner allow him to develop individualized programs designed to meet the needs of each patient’s unique physical condition.

His office is located in the fitness area. Please contact him directly for your personalized evaluation by calling 716-982-8200. Visit www.adamfieldphysicaltherapy.com for more information.

Benderson Family Building - Physical Therapist

When I entered the profession of physical therapy, I was already in my late 30’s.  I had done some living.  In Boston, I studied massage and body work. In theater school, I studied movement and developed a deeper awareness of the importance of posture.  When I became a physical therapist, I served as director of PT for a subacute rehab facility and went into peoples’ homes, addressing safety and strength issues with seniors trying to maintain their independence.

The trajectory of my career changed in 2010 when a a well-known pain doctor asked me to set work in his office treating his clients.  Many were prescribed opiates, some received regular spinal injections. others utilized implanted stimulators. The more clients I saw, the more I realized we shared a common goal: to reduce their dependence on these drugs and devices. This is the foundation for my practice, to use hands-on techniques to release the grip of soft tissue on the wrong structures and allow the body to move more freely and with less pain.
