Buffalo International Jewish Film Festival
August 1 – 21, 2020
We are going virtual!
Now celebrating its 35th Season the Buffalo International Jewish Film Festival is excited to announce we are going Virtual. After having to postpone the scheduled Festival in March 2020 we are looking forward to bringing you all the films that were to be part of the live Festival, offering you the opportunity to view them virtually from the comfort and safety of your own home! Beginning August 1 through August 21, join us as we continue to connect and engage in a new way.
In these unprecedented times, our mission continues to be providing an educational and entertaining cultural experience. Through the power of exceptional world-class cinema, the festival aspires to convey the diversity of Jewish experience while recognizing the commonality of Jewish values. In addition to the film screenings we will be having Talkback Tuesdays, free live discussions via ZOOM with special guest presenters.
Here’s how it works:
- Each film has a streaming window of 72 hours.
- Once you purchase a ticket to a film, you’ll get a receipt of purchase and confirmation email.
- Two hours before the streaming window opens you will receive and email with the viewing link and access instructions.
- If your film includes a Talkback Tuesday Zoom conversation or event, you will receive the link for the zoom in the same message as the film viewing link. If you plan to to participate in the live discussion please register in advance with Cultural Arts Director Katie Wzontek at email@example.com. You may also submit questions ahead of time via email as well.
This is new and exciting territory for all of us, so we’re sure you have some questions. Check out our detailed FAQ’s and Tech Tips for answers about ticket conversions, tech tips, and more.
