We close at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, October 4, and remain closed Wednesday, October 5, 2022, for Yom Kippur. Regular hours resume on Thursday, October 6.

This may be the 37th year of our Buffalo International Jewish Film Festival, but we are always willing to try something new.

Ambivalent toward the pandemic, we are going hybrid this year. Starting on April 28th, we will be streaming five films, each for 48 hours, as in the past two years. On May 12th, there will be an in-person screening at the Transit Drive-In, as was done last year (hopefully not cold and snowy this time). Then from May 13 – 19, our festival moves back to the Amherst Theatre.

In addition to a few outstanding Israeli films, the festival will feature award-winning movies from Argentina, Spain, France, Germany, and Russia.

As always, all films selected by the festival committee are chosen not just for their Jewish content, but also for their quality and entertainment value. There is something for everyone.

Thank you to our Committee!
