Q: Do I have to be a JCC member?
A: No, but if you are, you will receive a discount!
Q: When can I arrive for my party? How late can I stay to clean up?
A: We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your party starts to set up and decorate. If you require additional time, please let us know when reserving your party. Our staff will assist you in cleaning up so you can be on your way home within 15 minutes of the party’s end time.
Q: Can I bring in outside food or drink?
A: Please feel free to bring in food and drinks to share or let us take care of it for you. We can provide sheet pizzas, salads, and more. We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing in meat or shellfish, alcohol or glass containers.
Q: What if we’re using the outdoor pool and it rains?
A: If we see that the forecast shows rain, we’ll reach out to you and ask you which of the following options you prefer;
- Move the party indoors. We’ll go over what options are available. Options depend on how big the party is and what else is going on in the JCC. On weekends, we are typically able to move the party to the indoor pool with an option to use the gym.
- You can decide to reschedule for another date.
- You can go for it as planned. We have tents located near the outdoor pool that we can use and we swim in the rain providing it doesn’t thunder and/or lightning (we would need to wait 30min to go back in) or if it is a heavy rain (where the lifeguards can't see the bottom of the pool adequately).
Q: Can I bring my own decorations/table cloths/ paper goods?
A: As part of the party package, we provide basic paper goods and solid colored table cloths in the color of your choosing. Please feel free to bring in your own decorations, but please no confetti, glitter, silly string, or candles (other than for the cake). The only adhesive allowed is blue painter’s tape. Please let us know in advance if you will be bringing your own table cloths.
Q: What items should NOT be brought to the party?
A: Family pets, duct tape, transparent tape or thumbtacks (blue painter’s tape is acceptable), piñatas or unweighted balloons (weighted balloons are acceptable), confetti or silly string, alcohol.
Q: What happens if my guest count changes?
A: If your guest count changes from what is on your contract, let us know as soon as you can. We are usually able to accommodate increases to the number of party guests. Late notification of changes (less than two business days) will result in additional charges. Depending on the details of your party, changing the number of guests may impact the party time as well as the cost.
Q: What happens if more than the contracted number of guests show up? How many total guests can I have?
A: If more than the contracted number-of-participants arrive at the rental, an additional $100 fee will be charged in addition to the price to increase the size of the party. We cannot guarantee that we can accommodate more guests than originally planned. Please check your contract for the maximum number of children and total guests included in your party package.
Q: What if some of my guests don’t show up? Does it change the price of my party?
A: No, the price will not change.
Q: Do you have invitations?
A: We provide complimentary party invitations as well as guest passes for a parent/guardian to use while the child/ren are enjoying the party.
Q: Do we have access to the party room the whole time?
A: Yes, the party room is reserved for you throughout your entire party.
Q: How much is the deposit and is it refundable?
A: We ask for a deposit of 50% of the total price to reserve the party. Cancelations made more than two weeks in advance receive a full refund.

Q: How long will my party last?
A: Our parties start at two hours long but additional hours can be added on.
Q: Is there a minimum number of guests needed for a birthday party?
Q: How do I put down my deposit?
A: At the bottom of your contract there is a place to pay by credit or debit card. You are also welcome to call us or come in person to give us that information. If you are not able to use a card for the deposit, please contact us and we can make alternate arrangements.
Q: Can I bring ice cream?
A: You are welcome to; however, freezer or refrigerator space is not guaranteed.
Q: Is gratuity included or should I tip the party host and staff?
A: Gratuity is not included in the price of your party. Our party host works hard to provide a full service experience so you can enjoy the party with your guests – stress free. If you are pleased with the JCC experience, feel free to tip them! We are unable to put tips on credit or debit cards. If you would like to tip your host, please bring cash to do so.
