Early Childhood Center

A place to grow!

Children 18 months – Pre-K enrolled Early Childhood Centers learn through developmentally appropriate activities in a warm, safe, nurturing, educational environment. Children build confidence that prepares them for Kindergarten. All families are welcome! We have two convenient locations- Buffalo and Getzville. Flexible schedules accommodate your individual needs, with a minimum enrollment of 2 half days/week. Any combination of full and half days is available.

A place to learn and discover!

Our teachers are great, and many have been here for a long time. Our bright, colorful classrooms are filled with developmentally appropriate toys and play equipment chosen to encourage creativity, curiosity and imagination. Academic skills, language development, and social skills are taught through interactive learning experiences. All the children love our weekly enrichment classes: dance & creative movement, singing & music activities, and gym. The 3 and 4-year-olds also participate in a “Learn to Swim” program emphasizing water safety and beginning skills. Children enjoy playground time each day on our fabulous outdoor and indoor playgrounds.

A place to celebrate!

Children learn about Jewish culture, traditions, and holidays through music, stories, dramatic play, cooking, and art activities. We also celebrate that our children come from diverse backgrounds. Families are encouraged to share their cultural traditions with the classes to help us teach about our community.

A meeting with the Early Childhood Center Director is suggested, so that we can insure that the needs of each child are met. All programs at the JCC welcome and include children with physical, emotional, and educational challenges. By developing a partnership with parents, we work toward common goals.
